Computacenter Wins Cisco Enterprise Partner of the Year Award at Cisco Partner Summit 2011

Computacenter announced today that it is the recipient of a Cisco Partner Summit regional award for Enterprise Partner of the Year for the second year running. Cisco unveiled the winners earlier this month at its annual channel partner conference in New Orleans.

“Cisco works diligently with all of its channel partners, and it is an honour to announce Computacenter as a Cisco Partner Summit regional award recipient,” said Bernadette Wightman, Managing Director of Channels at Cisco UK and Ireland. “The Enterprise Partner of the Year award presented to Computacenter recognises its performance and expertise as a Cisco channel partner in the UK markets in 2010.”

Computacenter’s ongoing investments in Cisco solutions, from TelePresence and enterprise networking to Unified Computing System (UCS) and vBlock technologies, underpinned by cost-effective industrialised services, enabled the company to retain its leadership position.

Computacenter wins double accolade at Oracle UK Partner Awards

Computacenter has been awarded Oracle Hardware Partner of the Year and Oracle Technology Channel Partner of the Year at the annual Oracle PartnerNetwork Specialized UK Partner Awards.

The prizes were presented in recognition of the investment Computacenter has made in Oracle technologies and skills over the last year.

For example, Computacenter is the first Oracle partner to invest in both Exadata and Exalogic systems in order to provide customers with access to a comprehensive ExaDatacenter platform at its multi-vendor testing environment, the Solutions Centre.

David Callaghan, Senior Vice President, Oracle UK, Ireland and Israel, said: “These awards recognise the specialised partners that have consistently delivered a high level of innovation and excellence in their areas of expertise over the past year. The judging panel believes Computacenter has shown commitment to growing its Oracle business, enhanced its knowledge of the Oracle product line and shown focus in vertical industries.”
